The sun hits the dial.

because there's always an extra mile.

for when the soul breaks denial.

So it starts here in what feels
like an explosive room where tension
gets cut like tripwires just to see the reaction.

Yeah, I think I got a problem.
I got this little voice in the back of my head
and it keeps telling me I'm nothing
and it's filling every day with grey.

To pass time, my mind
starts to manifest every thought, every fear.
There goes years and everyone around me.

I'm still dealing with this problem
because that little voice just becomes 10
and they keep telling me I'm nothing
and their numbers grow day by day.

I get ripped out then thrown back in my skin.

So it starts here in what feels
like a fake refuge:
the white walls, the soft chair
and someone who wants to hear my questions.

"So this anxiety, is it just part of growing up?
Do you think this pace will subside?
Or will I go till my heart's given up?" (Do it)

It starts as rage then grinds until it's dull.
Then it starts to infest my mind about the
many ways it could've been done so now
these fantasies, they become memories and never leave.
They never leave.
